  • SMALL CAMERAS (Coral and Kendall): Surveillance cameras are video cameras used for the purpose of observing an area. They are often connected to a recording device or IP network, and may be watched by a security guard or law enforcement officer. Cameras and recording equipment used to be relatively expensive and required human personnel to monitor camera footage, but analysis of footage has been made easier by automated software that organizes digital video footage into a searchable database, and the amount of footage is also drastically reduced by motion sensors which only record when motion is detected. With cheaper production techniques, surveillance cameras are simple and inexpensive enough to be used in home security systems, and for everyday surveillance. Wireless Camera Doral Kendall

When choosing a wireless camera there is some things that need to be considered.

What Should It Look Like

Ask yourself where you are going to put the wireless camera and which wireless camera will fit in best. What room will it be placed? Wireless cameras are now built into many different household items including clock cameras, blue ray player wireless camera, AC adapter spy camera, fan wireless camera, and on and on. You can check out a large selection of wireless cameras here.

Viewing and Video Storage

Most of the higher quality wireless cameras will record video to a standard SD card, but some will record to built in memory. It is my opinion that recording to an SD card is a much easier option for several reasons.

You can easily increase the recording capacity by using a larger capacity SD card. To view the video you can easily remove the SD card and view it on your computer. With built in memory wireless cameras you would need to remove the wireless camera and connect it to a computer to view the video.

Location of Hidden Video Cameras at Work in Doral or Kendall

As noted above, regardless of the state, private companies generally have a right to video monitor the common areas of the workplace if done for a legitimate reason in Doral or Kendall. So it comes as no surprise then that we see wireless cameras in settings such as those described above, recording common areas of a workplace such as retail sales floors, grocery store aisles and exits, bank counters, and the like in Doral or Kendall. Placing wireless cameras in these common areas where employees have little to no expectation of privacy while going about their jobs has typically been protected by law in Doral or Kendall.

However, employee privacy rights are not completely surrendered when workers are on the job. In some states, like Miami Beach or Coral Gables, the law has established that an employer can violate employees’ privacy rights should they place cameras and similar surveillance in areas where employees would expect at least some measure of privacy. Some examples of workplace areas that may receive privacy protections in some states include restrooms, changing rooms, and break areas. States vary widely as to which specific areas of a workplace may be legitimately video recorded, and it is best to consult with a local employment or privacy attorney or your state’s labor agency to find out more specific information.

Notice Requirements & Wireless cameras

Putting up video surveillance without notice to employees or using wireless cameras at work may also violate employee privacy rights. Some states, such as Connecticut, make notice to employees an explicit requirement in their laws, while courts have established similar protections in some other states, as well. As a result, employers are generally well-advised (if not required) to provide notice to their employees of the existence of cameras in the workplace. Nevertheless, it should also be noted that courts in various states have protected employers’ use of wireless cameras in the workplace in certain circumstances.

According to the City of Doral website, in the late 1950’s two real estate pioneers Doris and Alfred Kaskel dreamed of building a hotel and golf course. They purchased 2,400 acres of swampland for around $49,000. In 1962 they made their dream a reality when they opened a hotel and country club. Doral came from the combination of their names. The Doral Golf Resort & Spa is currently located at NW 87 Avenue and NW 36 Street and includes the Blue, Red, and 3 Par courses. The Blue Monster is one of their most famous courses and still holds PGA tour tournaments each year. Also, the Saturnia International Spa, is the largest in Florida and was ranked as one of the top spas in the US. In the early 1980’s Doral experienced a residential growth spurt, this occurred when their grandson built Doral Estates. From 1983 to 1985 Miami-Dade county banned building to protect the area’s water wells. In 1989 when the ban was lifted Doral had an enormous amount of growth. In 1996 when the citizens of Doral were unhappy with the tax prices, the community elected its first community council. Jose “Pepe” Cancio, Sr., Mario Pita and Barbara B. While the US Census Bureau has defined the boundaries of Kendall, many locals have their own definitions. Some believe the communities of West Kendall, Glenvar Heights, Sunset, Olympia Heights, Westwood Lakes and Tamiami to all be sub-communities of Kendall, Miami while some people also believe the neighborhood of The Falls to be a separate entity.

Kendall is an unincorporated community in Miami-Dade County, Florida, located about 10 miles southwest of Miami along U.S. Route 1. Situated on the edge of the Florida Everglades, Kendall is home to the Kendall-Tamiami Executive Airport, one of the Miami metro area’s general aviation airports. The community was named after an executive of the British Land Company, an organization responsible for mapping and surveying many parts of the state of Florida. Other nearby communities include Cutler Ridge (5 miles to the south) and Coral Gables (8 miles to the north).

Much of what is now Kendall was purchased from the State of Florida in 1883 by the Florida Land and Mortgage Company. It was named for Henry John Broughton Kendall, a director of Florida Land and Mortgage who moved to the area in the 1900s to manage the company’s land. As the land was not open to homesteading, development was slow well into the 20th century. A post office opened in 1914, and the first school opened in 1929. After the end of the land boom in 1926, some residents left. Two Seminole camps were in the Kendall area, and Seminoles continued to live there into the 1940s.
